Welcome to the Farm!

It is SNOWWWWWWWING! Wow we have had almost 30 inches more than what is normal this time of year! I am about ready to buy a dog sled, but I don't think my two babies would pull it. We have to wonderful sweet dogs Annie and Libby I am posting some pics on my blog for you all to see. I hope to use this to update you to what is new for the shop on line and also to share my quilting projects and keep you up to date with special sales and what not. I hope you find it helpful, fun and inspiring.

Right now all of our Flannels, Batiks and Blank Prints are 50% off. you can check them out in the on line catalog, the batiks and flannels are under Benartex and Free Spirit. Blank Prints are under their own category Blank Textiles. This is a permanent mark down. I am currently working on making a quilt with the Fall Foliage Flannels using the Turning Twenty around the Block pattern. You can order a 1/2 yard collection of each of the three categories of these fabrics, Prints, Yarn Dyes, and Solids, and mix and match them. Also you can use the Fleurish Line of Flannels to create a wonderful Turning Twenty quilt Patterns using only 5 of the fabrics, one yard each. This makes a more planned looking quilt and is very stunning. I will try to post some pics soon on my blog of some examples. If you haven't tried the solid flannels from Benartex they are really wonderful, double sided flannels slightly heavier others though still very soft. Some people are using these for "wool" applique and those who are allergic to wool find them to work very well for this application.
